Letter to An Ombrophobic

Letter to An Ombrophobic

Dear Ombrophobic, I hope this letter finds you in your strength and seeks the news of you holding strong against the only thing that you hate the most in this world; rain. I don't have to wonder thinking about how possibly can anyone hate rains. And the reason is me being an ex-ombrophobic. I know how disgusting it feels to go to work with your sock drenched in mud and water. Or how gloomy and lazy it feels on a rainy morning. I also know how stupid, people sound talking about rain, rather harping about it. And also, the social media. God! That was, perhaps the reason I disliked rains so much. No sooner the rain begins, and floods the drains, your social wall is full of every single person, posting plagiarised posts. One day, irritated by these stupid stuff, abusing the rains, as I sat on my table in my cabin, my vision accidentally fell on the french window. And there, the...

Death, take me.

Death, take me.

Ever been in a place where you have nothing to say, but a lot to tell. Where all you feel is empty, but inside, you are on the verge of puking out all the crap that you hold inside. Where your mind screams, "Death, take me." What do you do then? Do you walk and hope that it will go down like the extra fat on your tummy? Or do you run, for it to come off like the sweat?   Ever did you try hiding, where it won't be able to see you? Or perhaps jumping down from the 14th floor?   Do you ever talk it out? Or sing it, like all those sad and depressing songs, which tend to suck out all the energy inside you?   Throw it off, like you throw a pebble in a steady lake, disturbing its peace and then drowning it to death? Or simply standing in a thunderstorm, and let the current burn it down to ashes?   Did you ever let it flow like...

The Secret Sister of Awan Alee – Part VIII

Complete parts: Author’s Note (Password: sister) I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX 29 December 2018 Dear Scarlett, Punim and I have a pet of our own! Hey big sister, this year I gifted Punim something she wanted since a long time. That is a goldfish! Once while we talked about pets, I remember she mentioned how beautiful she thought fishes are. She went on describing their minuscule features with the most excited expression I had ever seen and that was it. I decided back then that I’ll give her a fish. As expected she loved it! My semester exams are over and I’ve been enjoying life ever since the day! Dad sent me a brand new Mac Air Book just today! It’s been a challenge for me to keep it aside and to write you a letter! XD I miss you, di. See ya soon. 31 May 2019 Dear Scarlett, My third year is over, OH MY GOSH! I cannot believe it. It’s been 3 years that I’ve been living in the same room with the...

My first love — Diary

My first love — Diary

Dear Diary, It's funny how I always write in you but never for you. And it's surprising how you never complain while I fill your pages with the nonsensical jumble of words. All that belong to my unshaped thoughts and claim to call it a "draft". No matter how much I revise a draft to make it perfect, the one inside you will always be it's purest form. Just like our bond. You know the secrets of my wild times and the rants of my sad nights, also the time when I fell, and the time when I rose high. You live in a shelf, hidden from the world but today I'll make sure you're known. Your flawless cover is now adorned with my name and the favorite fandoms but I know you are "you" at heart. And that's what makes me trust you with my poems and the plots. And honestly, if it weren't you with me everywhere I went, my thoughts would always stay a thought. So thank you...

500+ Fablers

500+ Fablers

When I started The Honest Fabler, I had it in mind that no one has the time to read my thoughts and imaginations, nor would anyone be interested even if they have time. But that's the story of 2 months ago. Week after week with the increasing number of achieved milestones I've been in debt of my fellow bloggers and readers, but today-- but today!!!!!-- we've reached 500+ followers. I thought that this "Thank you" post would be better than last. But boy, I was so wrong. I'm spellbound and everything one becomes when they can't speak without shaking. With an open heart I want to tell you all how amazing you've been as readers and also great friends. Without you guys I might had still been writing poems at the last pages of my journal and imagined of universes that would only be a dream. For whatever I ever achieve as the Fabler all credit goes to you.❤️ Best wishes. Peace out....

A farewell to 2016.

A farewell to 2016.

Dear Santa, Surprised I'm writing to you, now? After not writing to you last year, like everytime? To be honest, last Christmas my brother told me that you're a figment of imagination, created to make children like me happier. I don't feel bad for the lies honestly, nothing's your fault. But I do have a list of complaints against you. Last year was too much to take in. Overwhelmed with sadness, hurt and a little pinch of happiness! I hate you for taking away the people who I admired and all the dark days whole world witnessed. But I'm grateful, too, cause these events brought the whole world together. It united the farthest corners of the world and gave a common cause to each of us. To value our fellow humans. David Bowie's 'Lazarus' was the first song my brother made me listen to and I instantly fell in love with it. He passed away only after 2 days of his 69th birthday. It...
