The “Thank You Award.”

The “Thank You Award.”

Hello wonderful bloggers and lovely readers! Since the time I was first nominated in The Mystery Blogger Award by poetrylover, the amount of nominations I received for the awards have increased, too! Sadly, however, it became a tedious job for me to make a post on every single nomination I got, so I decided to do it all together! And what better than calling it the "Thank You Award"? Now, I know how the value of something you receive in bulk reduces hastily thus I wanted to make this a special post. The main motive behind these award chains is to make people know your blog, know your work, appreciate it and even create the eagerness in you to nominate other great bloggers. Also, I know how too many award posts can be irritating and make you go—"Ugh! Another award nomination?" But yes, these awards do a great job in making people happier and appreciated about their work and there's nothing else that a passionate...

One for the 67 years of Republic India.

❛❛India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, & the great-grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most constructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only.❜❜ -Mark Twain Have you ever been to the richest land on earth in terms of religion, culture, historically significant places, amazing food and home to some of the greatest inventors? If you haven't, then you're missing one wild adventure in your travel journal! Or maybe you're as lucky as me to reside here. And if that's the case then you probably know how vast our cultural roots go and how majestic our mother nature's creation on this land is. The sacred river of our country— Holy Ganges that flows from Himalayas and its tributaries where believers go in order to purge their sins and achieve Moksha(liberation from circle of life and death)—is a lifeline to people residing at its banks. The Himalayan range makes a crown on our heads. The...

Waking up “Gratified”

Waking up “Gratified”

I don't know how to thank you people enough for even reading what I write. I'm a little shaky, overwhelmed by gratefulness. I started writing the blog exactly a month ago. It was technically because whatever I wrote on social medias, no one noticed it. Which was obvious since not many people knew I write. This blog, oh this blog!, it's the place where my write ups got an exposure, they've found home. Even if many people didn't read it, I would had continued to write since I didn't even imagine anyone would like it. That would had been a possible outcome, but the one that is real seems very unreal! From the last month, the followers have reached from 0 to 205(6 email followers) and 42 countries other than India have read it. This is the most wonderful thing I woke up to, this morning. I believe this wasn't only the outcome of my writings, it was because of the marvelous positive feedback from everyone....

What is a religion?

What is a religion?

Growing up in a religious family as an atheist has always been queer. But as time passed I learnt how to not offend the views of a person to whom religion & God is a source of lifestyle. In our current time the estimated number of religions is known to be 4,300. Each of them have a different history to our beginning and different set of Gods who govern the universe. Though I'm not someone who believes or follows any religion, I'm always intrigued by them. Think about it, the people who started religions were indeed very smart for their times. Religion was born to teach us life lessons, to literate us as to be capable to act in situations we haven't been in but might face them in later stages of our life.  These scholarly men, who started religions, even laid down rules and regulations for their followers to lead a life. To make sense in simple words, they made their fraternities...

Why does happiness play hide and seek in our lives?

Why does happiness play hide and seek in our lives?

After waking up this Sunday morning, I decided to dig in my nutella jar but found it to be almost empty. Which made me a little upset but then I wondered why happy moments in our life don't stay forever. Funny how an empty nutella jar triggered such a deep thought in my mind. But yes, if we all give a flashback on our lives, there's always some moments which we wish to change. Which we wish never had happened or if we could erase them from our memories. It hurts me to admit but it's indeed a fact that these embarrassing or hurtful memories are the most vital ones in our lives. The lack of happiness in those moments ignites our passion to be happier, to work harder and to get better.  Better, the word itself means to improve. The moment you claim a moment of your life to be the best, you ultimately say you won't get any better in...

Hello darkness, my old friend.

Hello darkness, my old friend.

It's a summer night, your Wi-Fi & A/C are working good. Your laptop and mobile are low on battery but you're ever so thankful to your charger. - But what if, right now, there's a blackout with no definite guarantee to come back any time soon? ("But we've a generator, Ashutosh!" Imagine it isn't working too.) What would you do? Sit alone in the room and wait for it come back like a vampire waiting for night to come? Then why not use this time to do things that you can't do when you're busy with your work! This summer when there was a blackout in our city due to a huge short-circuit in a transformer, that's exactly what I wanted to do but my lazy limbs didn't wish to walk. If it wasn't my grandma, who had come to visit us, to drop her glasses "accidentally" out of the window, maybe I wouldn't even be writing this blog. After forcing me out of the house it...

Midnight visitor

Midnight visitor

In the palace of mirrors, one midnight, An angel came to enlighten my mind. He taught me what's wrong & taught me what's right. The good, the bad and just a few tricks to make situations light! He told me I was the one who'd change the world. From a single soul to millions, I'll help 'em learn! At which I laughed and said, "Little do you know me, I ain't a God." Patiently he smiled, his expression unfazed, I wondered if he's an angel or a crazed! Breaking the silence he heaved a sigh, "Don't you see that you have it all? The knowledge of your ancestors and the gift of your youth. You're the one who can, You're the one who should! Persistence is the ultimate start, It is what you need to leave a mark. Rome wasn't built in a day, so remember, Time is what it would cost. Patience will be your guiding light along the path, Don't you lose it for a second unless you layoff. Hardships that come your way are so vital, Without facing them...
