Every morning I rise before the sun,
To eradicate the sins I’ve ever done.

With a cane I bruise my skin,
For that’s what every member believes in my kin.

My mother struggles with her daily chores,
But I can see the scars that everyone ignores.

Why does a man live like a God?
I’ve always found the patriarchy quite odd.

My brothers & sisters we’ll all revolt,
Shake this unjust system from it’s main bolt.

United we stand, divided we fall.
But a rebellion needs more than just a call.

Take a step with the world, comrade.
Let our successors live in peace that we’ll have made.
